Pre-Bid Conference: THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 13th, 2020 at 2:00 PM – 1401 NE 68TH Avenue, Conference Room 1125, Portland, OR 97213. Attendance is mandatory for bid eligibility.

Juvenile Justice Center – Fire Alarm System Replacement
Multnomah County is seeking qualified contractors to provide Fire Alarm Replacement and new Emergency Voice Communication System at the Multnomah County Juvenile Justice Center, located at 1401 NE 68TH Avenue, Portland, OR 97213.
Attendance at the MANDATORY Pre-Bid conference is required for bid eligibility. Participants will be required to pass through Security to enter the facility. We will meet in the main lobby and bidders will be required to sign an attendance roster to document participation in the conference.

Bids must be submitted electronically through the Multco Marketplace Supplier Network. Suppliers will need to register at this portal in order to submit a bid. Bids are accepted until, but not after, 2:00PM on the close date of the Sourcing Event.
PRE-QUALIFICATIONS OF BIDDER may be required pursuant to the Multnomah County Public Contract Review Board Rule 49-0220. See Specifications for project classes of work. Prequalification applications shall be submitted through Purchasing, 501 SE Hawthorne Blvd., Suite 125, Portland, Oregon 97214. Applications may be obtained at our office or can be downloaded from our website at https://multco.us/purchasing. Pre-qualification applications must be received by, or postmarked to, Purchasing no later than 10 days prior to the bid closing date.
All bidders must comply with the requirements of the prevailing wage law in ORS 279C 800-870, or the Davis-Bacon Act (40 U.S.C. 276(a) if applicable. Details of compliance are available from Purchasing, 501 SE Hawthorne Blvd., Suite 400, Portland, OR 97214, (503) 988-5111.
No bid will be considered unless bidder is registered with the Construction Contractors Board as required by ORS 701.055 or licensed by the State Landscape Contractors Board as required by ORS 671.530.
No bid will be considered unless accompanied by a surety bond, certified check, or a cashiers check payable to Multnomah County for the amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the aggregate bid.
Multnomah County reserves the right to reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and to reject any or all bids or to cancel the solicitation if Multnomah County finds it is in the public interest to do so.
