WILLAMETTE FALLS DRIVE STREETSCAPE (PW-19-09)

Bids due: Nov. 26, 2019 @ 2:00 pm

INVITATION FOR BID

 

Sealed bids for the Willamette Falls Drive Streetscape will be received by Erich Lais, P.E., Assistant City Engineer, at the downstairs Engineering counter at West Linn City Hall, 22500 Salamo Road, West Linn, Oregon, 97068 until 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 26th when bids shall be publicly opened and read. Bids received after 2:00PM on said day will not be considered. First Tier Subcontractor Disclosure forms shall be submitted not later than 4:00 PM on the same day. Bids shall be clearly marked “Willamette Falls Drive Streetscape (PW-19-09)”. Bids shall be valid for sixty (60) days following bid opening. An optional pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at 2:00 PM at West Linn City Hall. Statements made by the City’s representatives at the pre-bid meeting are not binding upon the City unless confirmed by written addendum. This project is a public works project subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870.

The project is located along Willamette Falls drive in the historic Willamette area from 10th Street to 16th Street. Improvements generally include (1) constructing street, parking, pavers, pervious asphalt cycle track, and sidewalks; (2) constructing decorative lighting and street tree duplex outlets; (3) install storm sewer improvements; and (4) water line improvements.

The project plans, specifications and contract provisions may be reviewed at no cost through the City of West Linn’s website at http://bids.westlinnoregon.gov/ or paper copies may be obtained through the City of West Linn Engineering Division at 22500 Salamo Road, West Linn, (503)722-5500, with advanced notice, at a cost of $50.00 per set. If you wish to receive any future addendums for this project please login to the City’s bid management website and add your company to the plan holders list. Questions may also be submitted through the website.

The City shall consider no bid unless the bidder is registered with the Oregon Construction Contractor Board and the bidder has complied with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements. The City of West Linn reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to postpone the award for 90 days, to delete certain items from the proposal, and to award the contract to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder.
